Karl Schön (politician, 1931)

Karl Schön (born August 17, 1931 in Munich ; † June 22, 1989 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Schön attended primary school in Munich-Sendling , secondary school and secondary school, where he graduated from high school in 1951. He did a commercial apprenticeship at Rosenthal Porzellan AG, where he acquired a commercial assistant certificate. Schön then worked in sales, in Bavaria and later also in Austria . He was a travel agent and sales manager for Bavaria for the Thomas glass and porcelain factories.

In 1953, Schön was a co-founder of the Junge Union in Munich-Süd, three years later he joined the CSU. He was JU district chairman and district chairman of the Christian Social Workers 'Union, the CSU workers' union . In 1961 he founded the CSU local association in the new district of Fürstenried . He was CSU district chairman in Munich-South and a member of the CSU district executive committee as well as chairman of the CSU state working group for urban and residential construction and a member of the district committee of the 24th district. From 1970 until his death, Schön was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . From 1974 he was directly elected in the Munich-Fürstenried district.
