Karl Schütz (musician)
Karl Schütz (born April 17, 1936 in Vienna ) is an Austrian music teacher, church musician and organ researcher .
Schütz passed the teaching examination for German and music education, in 1964 he received his doctorate. From 1975 to 2003 he was a professor of organ studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts . Since 1953 he worked as organist at the parish church of St. Anton von Padua in Vienna.
Karl Schütz is Commander in the Vienna Commandery of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem .
