Karl Schwandt
Karl Schwandt (born March 25, 1923 ) is a former German soccer player. He is on rank 57 of the record goal scorers in the GDR Oberliga .
The center forward was active in the first eight seasons (including the transition round ) of the highest GDR division for the SC activist Brieske-Senftenberg and its predecessor clubs. Schwandt scored 65 goals in 163 league games. The long-time goalgetter, now 33 years old, was only involved in the runner-up title of the activist team in the 1956 season . Only Werner Weist (74 hits) and Horst Franke (73 hits) scored more goals than Karl Schwandt in the history of the Briesker squad .
