Karl Sievers (* 1880 ; † September 13, 1925 ) was a German civil engineer and construction clerk , since 1909 he was in the service of the city of Berlin .

Life

He began his activity in the municipal building administration with the rank of government master builder ( assessor ), then worked as a director of civil engineering office III and then worked in the port construction office. In 1915 he was promoted to the magistrate's building officer, and since 1921 he was a member of the Technical Higher Examination Office. He had been in charge of the bridge construction office since 1923. In 1923 he was made an extraordinary member of the Prussian Academy of Building .

The project for the construction of the Spree tunnel in Friedrichhagen was developed under his direction and in cooperation with La Baume .

Karl Sievers, who has been in the city's service since 1909, has done a great job both as a board member of the port construction office in the construction of the West Harbor and as head of the bridge construction office, which is entrusted with particularly difficult tasks.
