Footnotes

  1. In the FISA database, the world championship results 1987 and 1989 are assigned to Karl Sinzinger Senior, born in 1941: Results from Karl Senior . According to this, Sinzinger Junior would have rowed together with Hermann Bauer at the U23 World Championships in 1987, but only then again in 1990, whereby Sinzinger Juniors' Olympic participation in 1988 is secured via the Sports-Reference database. There is nothing to suggest that the assignment of the 1987 and 1989 World Cup results to Sinzinger Senior is more than an assignment error in the database.
