Karl Steinhuber (born May 1, 1906 in Linz , Upper Austria ; † November 2002 ) was an Austrian canoeist who won a silver medal at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin.

Together with Viktor Kalisch , Kalisch was beaten by the Germans Ludwig Landen and Paul Wevers by twenty seconds in a two-man kayak over 10,000 meters , but the Austrian team relegated the Swedish team to third place by over a minute.

Steinhuber was a master tailor by profession. Despite a slight handicap, he continued to play sports into old age.
