Karl Wöll

Karl Wöll (born December 21, 1903 in Groß-Auheim ; † April 11, 1972 ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Karl Wöll worked as an employee after completing elementary school and a commercial teacher. From 1928 to 1933 he was union secretary. After the Nazis came to power, he lost this job and worked as a self-employed driver and later as an employee again. After 1945 he was works council and since 1949 legal department manager at DGB Offenbach am Main .

politics

Karl Wöll was a member of the SPD. For this he was from 1947 to 1949 city district chairman in Frankfurt am Main . Between December 1, 1950 and November 30, 1970, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for five electoral terms.

In 1954 he was a member of the 2nd Federal Assembly .
