Karl Wilhelm Bink
Karl Wilhelm Bink (born April 29, 1887 in Mandtkeim , Samland , † July 14, 1953 in Göttingen ) was a German high school teacher . He became known as a Low German writer .
Life
Bink had been a teacher since 1906 and did his Abitur as an external student in Königsberg. He studied at the Albertus University in Königsberg . With a doctoral thesis on Sudauen he was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. He was then teacher at the Suburban Oberrealschule. With his penchant for the Low German language, he founded the Niederdeutsche Bühne Königsberg in 1918 , with which he played throughout northern Germany and on the radio . He wrote most of the pieces himself. He published articles in various magazines and edited Der Jungprütze .
