Karl von Düwell

Karl Düwell , knight of Düwell since 1915 (born August 6, 1869 in Kempten (Allgäu) , † July 21, 1930 ibid) was a royal Bavarian officer , most recently a colonel .

Life

During the First World War, Düwell was the commander of the 1st Reserve Jäger Battalion , which was stationed in Freising , among other places . For his services he was awarded the Military Max Joseph Order by the Bavarian King , which earned him the elevation to the personal nobility with the title of Knight of . A street in Freising is named after him .
