Karl von Specht

Karl Wilhelm Heinrich Theodor von Specht (* 1822 in Kassel ; † March 18, 1899 there ) was a German lawyer .

Life

Karl Wilhelm Heinrich Theodor was the son of Jean Ludwig Bernhard von Specht (1791–1850) and Marie Therese Hupfeld (1833–1877). After completing his studies, he was appointed senior judge in 1853 and senior judge in 1863. In 1867 he was appointed as a councilor to the Kassel Higher Appeal Court . From 1875 to 1879 he spoke law at the Prussian Higher Tribunal . From 1879 until his retirement in 1890 he worked as a councilor at the Reichsgericht , where he was a member of the 1st Criminal Senate. Von Specht died in 1899 at the age of 76 in his hometown Kassel.
