Karlheinz Misera

Karlheinz Misera (* 1933 in Strehlitz ; † January 27, 2008 ) was a German law scholar and professor at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

Life

From 1954 Misera studied law , theology , philosophy and classical philology at the universities of Bonn , Frankfurt am Main , Innsbruck , Münster , Hamburg and Naples . In 1956 he completed his studies in philosophy. From 1959 he worked as a research assistant for Max Kaser in Hamburg. In 1962 Misera passed his first state examination in law, followed by the second state examination in 1967 after the subsequent legal clerkship. He then worked as a speaker at the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Association . In February 1968 he received his PhD from Hans Brox at the University of Münster. iur. PhD. He then worked as a research assistant at Bielefeld University before moving back to Dieter Nörr at Münster University in 1970 , where Misera completed his habilitation in the same year.

In the 1970/71 winter semester, Misera represented Gerardo Broggini's chair at Heidelberg University . In the following semester he took on a teaching position at the University of Bochum before he returned to Heidelberg in 1971. There he held a full chair in the Romance Studies department until his retirement in 1999.

He was a member of the Catholic student union KStV Hansea-Halle Münster.

Works and works (selection)

Misera's dissertation is still devoted to a labor law topic. In his further work, however, he devoted himself preferentially to Roman law, in particular to Roman civil law and civil procedural law. He has made numerous contributions to commemorative publications and compilations relating to this topic.
