Karlheinz Schumacher (born March 19, 1944 in Schwagstorf ) is a German New Apostolic clergyman and, as District Apostle , headed the New Apostolic Church in Northern Germany until December 5, 2010 .

Schumacher was born on March 19, 1944 as the son of the later District Apostle Hermann Schumacher and his wife (Elsa née Gernert) in Schwagstorf . He was baptized on May 28, 1944, and on December 16, 1944, he received the New Apostolic Sacrament of Holy Sealing from Apostle Lembke.

He studied in Hamburg law and since 1974 has been a lawyer since 1980 and a notary in Bremen. On January 4th he married Birgit Becker. The couple have two grown daughters.
