Karol Kołtaś (born January 24, 1961 ) is a former Polish Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Kołtaś, who comes from Chochołów and started for Wisła-Gwardia Zakopane , finished eighth with the team at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1980 in Örnsköldsvik . In the individual, he finished thirteenth, around fifty points behind the winner Hubert Schwarz .

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1985 in Seefeld in Tyrol he was sixth in the 3 x 10 km team competition on the normal hill together with Tadeusz Bafia and Janusz Guńka .

At the national level, Kołtaś won the championship title three times with the team in Nordic combined. In addition, he also took part in Polish ski jumping championships , where he twice won the silver medal in team jumping.
