Karoline Simpson-Larsen (born August 4, 1997 ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Simpson-Larsen, who starts for Il Vargar, took part in junior races until 2017. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2017 in Soldier Hollow , she came in 23rd place in the skiathlon . In December 2017 she ran her first races in the Scandinavian Cup in Vuokatti , finishing 64th in the sprint, 48th place over 10 km classic and 45th place over 10 km freestyle. In the 2018/19 season she reached the Scandinavian Cup with three placements in the points, 48th place in the overall standings. In March 2019 she made her debut in Oslo in the World Cup and won it the 40th place in the 30-km mass start race. After finishing third and fourth over 10 km at the FIS races in Gålå at the start of the 2019/20 season, she took part in the Cross-Country World Cup in Lillehammer for the first time in December 2019 . She got her first World Cup points with the 28th place in the skiathlon. At the U23 World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal , she finished 14th over 10 km classic.
