Karsten Heinz

Karsten Heinz (born October 12, 1960 in Premnitz ) is a German handball trainer and former handball goalkeeper .

Karsten Heinz began his career as a player at BSG Chemie Premnitz . From there he switched to the ASK Frankfurt / Oder sports school in 1974 . From 1979 he was active at SC Empor Rostock , from 1984 to 1994 at BSG Stahl Brandenburg .

With both Rostock and Brandenburg he played in the top division of the GDR , the Oberliga .

In 1994 he moved back to Premnitz , seven years later to Wusterwitz and one year later he became a trainer there; he held this office until the spring of 2006. From autumn 2006 he was coach at SV 63 Brandenburg-West , first in the B-youth, from 2007 on the 2nd men's team and in the 2011/2012 season he is assistant coach of the first men playing in the 3rd division -Team.

Karsten Heinz is a trained agricultural master.
