Barracks officer

The barracks officer (KasOffz) reports to the barracks commander. He usually holds the rank of lieutenant , first lieutenant or captain or a corresponding rank of the navy ( lieutenant at sea , first lieutenant at sea or captainleutnant ).

In his area of ​​responsibility, he supports and advises the barracks commanders on all questions of infrastructure planning as well as military security and order. As a rule, the barracks commander is represented by the barracks officer when he is absent.

The barracks officer usually leads a sub-unit that reports to him, to which the barracks sergeant also belongs.
