Kaspar von Solemacher

Kaspar Joseph Viktor von Solemacher (born June 28, 1807 in Recklinghausen , † April 6, 1867 in Aachen ) was a German administrative officer and politician.

Von Solemacher came from the noble family Solemacher . He was the son of the District Court Councilor and Mr. Antweiler and Vohwinkel Johann Matthias Joseph Ignatius von Solemacher and his wife Maria Anna Magdalene Henriette nee von Braumann. He was a Catholic and remained unmarried.

Von Solemacher studied law and became an ausculator in 1828 . In 1830 he became a trainee lawyer at the Higher Regional Court in Arnsberg before he transferred to administrative service in 1831. In 1834 he became a government assessor in Cologne and in 1837 a councilor. In 1839 he was promoted to senior government councilor and director of Department I in the government. In the end he was also the deputy of the regional president in Aachen. In 1866 he was retired.

In 1849 he was a member of the First Prussian Chamber . In 1850 he was a member of the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament . In 1861 he became a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

He was awarded the Red Eagle Order 4th class, 3rd class with the ribbon (1856) and 2nd class (July 29, 1866).
