The Kataklik Kangri (or Kataklik Kangri I ) is one of the highest mountains in the mountain group east of the Shyok upper reaches, which lies in the far west of the Transhimalaya .

The Kataklik Kangri has a height of 6876  meters (according to other sources 6897  m , 6920  m and 6962  m ), situated on the Line of Actual Control (ceasefire line) between that of China annexed Aksai Chin and the Indian union territory of Ladakh . The glaciers on its flanks are drained via the Shyok. 4.9 km north-northwest rises the lower Kataklik Kangri II ( 6820  m ).

There are no ascents of the Kataklik Kangri recorded in the Himalayan Index .
