Katarzyna carpenter

Katarzyna Zimmerer (* 1961 in Krakow ) is a Polish journalist and translator, daughter of Ludwig Zimmerer and Joanna Olczak-Ronikier . She was married to Jan Maria Rokita .

Katarzyna Zimmerer translated works by Hedwig Courths-Mahler , Hans-Georg Behr , Michael Hesemann , Horst Klaus Berg , Anselm Grün , Rainer Erler and Karl Frielingsdorf , which were mainly published by the Krakow publishing houses “Znak”, “Wydawnictwo Literackie” and “WAM” are. She is a permanent employee of the Catholic “ Tygodnik Powszechny ” weekly newspaper. She also published two books: “Zamordowany świat - losy Żydów w Krakowie 1939–1945” (The Murdered World - Fate of the Jews in Krakow) and “Zwyczajny dzień” (An Ordinary Day).
