Kateryna Hryhorenko (born October 30, 1985 in (Rokytne, Kiev) ) is a Ukrainian cross-country skier .

Career

Hryhorenko ran her first World Cup race in January 2006 in Lago di Tesero , which she finished with 55th place in the 15 km mass start race. Her best placings at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Pragelato were 40th place in the 15 km pursuit race and eighth place in the relay. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2007 in Sapporo , she finished 48th in the 15 km skiathlon and 38th in the 30 km mass start race. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , she reached 61st place in the sprint and 44th place in the 30 km mass start race. Her best results at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver were 26th in the 30km mass start race and 13th in the relay. She finished the Tour de Ski 2010/11 in 29th place overall. She won her first and so far only World Cup points. At the Winter Universiade 2011 in Erzurum , she won the bronze medal in the 15 km mass start race and the 10 km skiathlon and the silver medal over 5 km classic and with the relay. Her best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo were 33rd place in the skiathlon and 12th place in the relay. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , she took 30th place in the 30 km mass start race and 10th place in the relay. In December 2013, she won the silver medal in the skiathlon at the Winter Universiade 2013 in Lago di Tesero and the gold medal in the 5 km freestyle and relay. The 38th place in the 30 km mass start race and the 12th place in the relay were their best placements at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun , 38th place over 10 km freestyle and 11th place with the relay were her best results.
