Katharina Deppert

Katharina Deppert , b. Brunn (born June 20, 1941 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer. From 1990 until she retired in 2006, she was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

biography

After completing his legal training in 1968 and a doctorate at the University of Frankfurt am Main , Deppert joined the justice service of the State of Hesse in 1971 . There she worked as a judge at the Frankfurt am Main Regional Court from 1974 and at the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court from September 1980 .

In 1990 Deppert was elected judge at the Federal Court of Justice. She was a member of the III. and VIII. Senate , of which she has been chairman since 1996, and the Senate for Patent Attorney Matters . In addition, Deppert had been a member of the Grand Senate for Civil Matters of the Federal Court of Justice since 2000 . In 2006, Deppert's membership in the Federal Court of Justice ended when he retired.
