Katharina Dorothea von Schlieben

Countess Katharina Dorothea von Schlieben , b. Countess Finck von Finckenstein (born June 6, 1700 at Schönberg Castle (East Prussia) , † July 15, 1728 in Halberstadt ) is the ancestor of European imperial and royal families.

Her parents were Count Albrecht Christoph Finck von Finckenstein (1661-1730) and Arnolda Charlotte von Creytzen (1673-1749).

On November 27, 1720 she married Count Georg Adam von Schlieben (III.) (1688–1737) on Schönberg. Among the three children was Leopold von Schlieben (1723–1788), who married Marie Eleonore von Lehndorff (1723–1800). The daughter Friederike Amalie Countess von Schlieben (1757-1827) was married to Duke Friedrich Karl Ludwig of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck , a member of the Danish royal family.

Katharina Dorothea is the great-great-grandmother of King Christian IX. of Denmark the ancestor of the imperial and royal ruling families of the Russian Empire , Denmark , Norway , the Kingdom of Greece and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland . She is the six-time great-grandmother of Elisabeth II.
