Huber comes from St. Georgen am Reith in Lower Austria . As a 15-year-old, she took part in FIS races from December 2010 , initially in all disciplines. She had her first appearances in the European Cup in January 2013. In the same month she became Austrian Giant Slalom Junior Champion. Gradually, she began to focus on slalom and giant slalom. In December 2014 she finished in the points for the first time in the European Cup, and a month later she won her first FIS race.
Huber made her debut in the World Cup on November 28, 2015 in Aspen . There she surprisingly finished 18th in the slalom and won World Cup points straight away. A day later, a 17th place followed, which was the best result in the 2015/16 season. At the Junior World Championships in Sochi in 2016 , she won the bronze medal in slalom.
Huber was gradually able to establish herself in the World Cup, she mostly scored points in the slalom, but she also sometimes competes in the giant slalom. She was nominated for the slalom at the 2019 World Ski Championships in Åre and came in seventh. Huber achieved her best World Cup result with eighth place in the slalom in Levi at the start of the 2019/20 season .
