Katharina Leiding (born March 17, 1994 in Bochum ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

She played in the youth of SG Wattenscheid 09 , which from 2010 on was called VfL Bochum . In the summer of 2011, Leiding moved to the first division club SG Essen-Schönebeck , where she made 17 league appearances in her debut season, where she scored her first goal on May 6, 2012 against Bayer Leverkusen . In the summer of 2015, she ended her active playing career.

International

Leiding went through various youth teams of the DFB and took part in the U-17 European Championship 2011 and the U-20 World Cup 2012 . Leiding scored her first goal in the national jersey on March 31, 2012 against Poland.

Personal

Leiding has been studying body work - personal training at the Ruhr University Bochum since April 2015 .
