German racing championship 1975

The Ford Escort RS driven by Hans Heyer

The German Racing Championship 1975 was the fourth season of the German Racing Championship (DRM).

championship

Nine races were held in the 1st and 2nd divisions. The first race took place on April 27th at the Nürburgring and the last race of the season took place at the Hockenheimring on September 28th.

The regulation of the joint scoring of some selected international championship races in the DRM, which was valid from 1972 to 1974, was ended from this season. The DRM drivers thus only received points from the DRM races.

Hans Heyer secured the championship title with 120 points in a Ford Escort RS ahead of his brand colleague Klaus Ludwig .
