Katharina Meier (born July 9, 1998 in Bremen , Germany ) is a German handball player .

Career

Katharina Meier started playing handball at Hastedter TSV . After the left-hander then played at ATSV habenhausen , she moved to Buxtehuder SV in 2014 . At Buxtehuder SV, she initially ran in the youth area. With the A-Jugend from BSV, she won the German championship in 2016 and 2017. In the 2017/18 season Meier was part of the BSV Bundesliga team. At the start of the season she made her debut against HC Rödertal . Meier scored her first goals in the German elite class against HSG Bad Wildungen on the second match day . From the summer of 2018 she played for the second division Werder Bremen . Meier took a break in 2019.
