Katherine Hannigan

Katherine Hannigan (* 1962 in Lockport (City) , New York State , USA ) is an American author and university teacher for children and young people .

Life

Hannigan studied mathematics , education and painting and completed her studies with a Master of Fine Arts in art . She has taught art and design as an assistant professor at the University of Iowa . She also worked as a coordinator in the Head Start education program.

Hannigan currently lives in a small town in the state of Iowa . Of her three book publications so far, two have been published in German.

  • 2014: Luchs (literature prize) for The Truth as Delly sees it .
