Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger Pratt (born Schwarzenegger , born December 13, 1989 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American author and blogger .

Life

She is the oldest child of the actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, who belongs to the Kennedy family . She has a younger sister and two younger brothers, including actor Patrick Schwarzenegger .

In 2010, she published her first book, Rock What You've Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who's Been There and Back , aimed at helping women improve self-esteem .

After graduating from the University of Southern California in 2012 , she was undecided about her future life plans. With this drive she spoke to numerous athletes, musicians, entrepreneurs and actors about her career. On this basis her second book I Just Graduated ... Now What? Honest Answers from Those Who Have Been There , published by Crown Archetype in 2014.

In 2017 Schwarzenegger published the children's book Maverick and Me , about a dog she rescued. For her book The Gift of Forgiveness: Inspiring Stories from Those Who Have Overcome the Unforgivable , published in March 2020, Schwarzenegger interviewed Sue Klebold , mother of one of the two gunmen at Columbine High School , and activist Elizabeth Smart , who became known as a kidnapping victim. Schwarzenegger has been in a relationship with actor Chris Pratt since June 2018 , whom she married on June 8, 2019. In August 2020, the couple's first child, a daughter, was born.
