Kathi Kallauch (born July 13, 1987 in Düsseldorf ) is an Austrian singer and songwriter .

Life

Kathi Kallauch was born on July 13, 1987 in Düsseldorf and moved with her family to Vienna in 2001, where she has lived since then. In 2007 she won the local competition The Voice in the Shopping City Süd . She studied pop and jazz singing, worked with many different bands and as a studio singer. As a songwriter, she wrote for the winning band of the talent show Popstars Österreich and the Austrian singer Julian le Play . With its Hamburg producer Martin Meyer has 2014 their first single already see on the label Tonga Rage released. Seeing has been played on Austria's largest radio station, Ö3 , and has been in the Ö3 listener charts for 20 weeks.

At the beginning of 2015 she participated in the national preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest - Who sings for Austria? took part. The single "Seelenverwandt" released in September 2015 has reached over 600,000 streams on Spotify.

With the singer Johannes Sumpich as a duo, she won the 2016 Radio Vienna summer hit election with the song “No summer for one alone”.

After a longer creative break, only interrupted by the single release "Last Love of my Life" at the beginning of 2018, Kathi Kallauch released the album "Alles muss raus" with songs from 2011 to 2017 on April 1st, 2019.
