Kathleen Friedrich
Kathleen Friedrich (born July 13, 1977 in Potsdam ) is a former German athlete .
After graduating from school in 1997 at the sports high school in Chemnitz , she began her career as a temporary soldier in the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr . There she practiced intense competitive sports . Her main discipline was the middle distance over 1500 meters . From 2000 to 2004 she was German champion five times in a row, in the hall she won the title in 2002 and 2004. Friedrich became Vice Junior World Champion over 800 meters in Sydney in 1996 . She took part in the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton and the 2002 European Championships in Munich. At the 2002 World Cup in Madrid she was third.
Kathleen Friedrich started for LAC Chemnitz and SC Potsdam and was looked after by Beate Conrad . With a height of 1.77 m, she had a competition weight of 57 kg. Friedrich studied European media studies and photography.
