Kathrin Koch
Kathrin Koch (* in Waiblingen ) is a German opera, lied, oratorio and concert singer ( mezzo-soprano / alto ).
Life
She first studied school music at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts , then singing with Julia Hamari and Carl Davis. She attended master classes with Luisa Bosabalian , Maria Venuti and Klesie Kelly . For eight years (1999–2007) she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Augsburg Theater . There she sang the major parts of her subject a. a. Ramiro in Die Gärtnerin aus Liebe , Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier , Idamante in Idomeneo , Carmen in the opera of the same name , Béatrice in Béatrice et Bénédict , Hansel in Hansel and Gretel , Elisabetta in Maria Stuarda , Adalgisa in Norma (concert) etc.
The singer has had a close artistic collaboration with Anna Reynolds since 2003 . The freelance artist is a popular song, oratorio and concert singer. She made guest appearances in Kaiserslautern, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Munich, Weimar, Nice, Innsbruck a. a. m. Her repertoire includes works by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach , Johann Sebastian Bach , Ludwig van Beethoven , Johannes Brahms , Benjamin Britten , Georg Friedrich Händel , Joseph Haydn , Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , Heinrich Schütz , Giuseppe Verdi and others. like m.
