Katja Bahlmann (born February 7, 1976 in Zeitz ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

Bahlmann completed after the average maturity a training for purchasing office communication . In 2010 she began a correspondence course to become a business administrator , which she successfully completed in 2012.

Bahlmann initially worked in the secretarial area in various companies. From 2002 to 2005 she worked as an office manager for Ria Theil , Member of Parliament , and then until 2017 for Roland Claus, Member of the Bundestag .

Party and politics

Bahlmann has been a member of the Die Linke party since 2001, and has been the district chairwoman in Burgenlandkreis since 2015 . From 1999 to 2004 and again from 2014 to 2017 she held a seat in the municipal council of Droyzut , and from 2004 to 2012 in the district council of the Burgenland district. In October 2017, she replaced the resigned MP Matthias Höhn in the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt.
