Katja Boehme

Katja Boehme (* 1961 in Bremen ) is a German religious educator , grammar school and secondary school teacher and professor for Catholic theology / religious education with a focus on historical and systematic theology and religious education at the PH Heidelberg .

Life

Boehme studied at the beginning to the middle of the 1980s in Freiburg and Munich the teaching post at high schools with the subjects cath. Theology and German, which she completed with the first state examination. While she was still doing her legal clerkship, she began teaching as a secondary school teacher at PH Weingarten , which she also completed with the first state examination in 1990. At the same time, after her legal clerkship, she worked as a religion teacher in the Diocese of Freiburg. This was followed by a research stay in Paris before she worked as a teacher in Berlin with the subjects German, Catholic. Religion and art worked. In 1995 she received her doctorate in theology at the University of Freiburg and in 1997 accepted a position as an academic adviser at the Freiburg University of Education there . She has been a professor at the PH Heidelberg since 2009.

Her research focuses on interreligious didactics, church education and the theology of spirituality.
