Katrin Hart

Katrin Hart (* 1950 in Rostock ) is a German cabaret artist .

Life

Katrin Hart completed an apprenticeship as a film copy specialist in Berlin and studied cultural and theater studies in Leipzig from 1969 to 1973 . She has been an ensemble member of the Leipzig cabaret academixer since 1969 and was married to its co-founder Jürgen Hart until his death in 2002. Between 1972 and 1978 she also worked as a lecturer and editor . From 1990, until his state of health no longer allowed it, she also appeared in solo programs with her husband Jürgen Hart. Since his death, she has also appeared alone, including with the programs The Perfect Emergency Solution and Double Hard .

In 2006, the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk presented Katrin Hart and Christian Becher from the Kabarett academixer in the program Here from four . In 2009, Katrin Hart was honored as a representative of the “Citizens' Foundation for Leipzig” in Berlin with the “Active Citizenship” award. She is the chairwoman of the foundation board. In August 2009 she reported on the influence of artists on the peaceful revolution in Leipzig in 1989 in the Phoenix broadcast, Subject Leipzig - 20 Years of Peaceful Revolution .
