Katrin Kampmann

Katrin Kampmann (* 1979 in Bonn ) is a Berlin painter .

biography

Kampman attended school in her hometown and moved to Berlin after graduating from high school. Between 2001 and 2005 she studied fine arts at the Berlin University of the Arts . In 2006 she was a master student in Karl Horst Hödicke's class there . From 2010 to 2011 Kampmann received a scholarship from the Berlin Dorothea Konwiarz Foundation . The painter works and lives in Berlin. Between 2006 and 2016, Kampmann presented her pictures in a solo exhibition every year. She also took part in numerous group exhibitions. Her works are in the possession of public and private collections. In her paintings, Kampmann playfully combines figurative and abstract elements.
