Katrin Schreiter (born February 24, 1969 in Arnstadt ) is a former German sprinter whose special route was the 400-meter distance .

Her greatest success is victory in the German 4 x 400 meter relay at the World Indoor Championships in Seville in 1991 together with Sandra Seuser , Annett Hesselbarth and Grit Breuer in the indoor world record time of 3: 27.22 minutes.

In the same year she was used in the 4 x 400 meter relay of the World Championships in Tokyo in the preliminary run in the German relay, which was third in the final.

In 1989 and 1990 she was the GDR indoor champion over 400 meters. In 1989 she was GDR runner-up in both the 400m individual run and with the relay of the SC Turbine Erfurt over 4x400m.

Katrin Schreiter is 1.76 m tall and weighed 59 kg during her active time. She started for the SC Turbine Erfurt .
