Katrin Taylor
Katrin Taylor , née Katrin Löbbert (born December 17, 1981 in Bochum ) is a German musical actress and singer ( soprano ).
Life
From 2002 to 2003 she received training at the Stella Academy and the Stage Holding Studios, which she completed after three semesters. In the years 2000–2002, she participated in musical workshops with Perrin Allen, among others. From 1996–2002 classical singing and piano lessons were given by Jennifer Morales at the Bochum Music School. From 1998 to 2002 she received hearing training and studied music theory with Parvez Mirza. From 1988 to 1998 she was a member of the Bochum Children's Choir and took part in concerts and choir trips to England and the Czech Republic.
Awards
- In 1997 she won first prize in the “Jugend Musiziert” regional competition for opera singing in Herne.
- In 2005, Taylor received the Friedrich Schütter Prize for Young Actors.
