Katrina Krumpane ( Latvian Katrīna Krumpāne ; born April 1, 1980 in Krāslava , Latgale ) is a Latvian singer ( soprano ) and musician .

education

Katrīna Krumpāne studied solo singing , piano and flute at Daugavpils Mūzikas koledža (Daugavpils Music College) . In 2010 she completed her diploma with distinction in singing / music theater at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK) with Kammersänger Professor Siegfried Lorenz . In 2013 she was awarded a Master of Arts .

Since 2015 Katrīna Krumpāne has been working as a visiting professor at the Sungshin Women's University in Seoul, South Korea.

Appearances

2011 Katrīna Krumpāne debuted at the Berlin State Opera Berlin in Cinderella by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari as Hartwige.

In 2012 she sang a German Requiem by Johannes Brahms for the first time in the Lukaskirche in Dresden .
