Katsuya Iwatake ( Japanese 岩 武 克 弥 , Iwatake Katsuya ; born June 4, 1996 in Ōita , Ōita prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Katsuya Iwatake learned to play soccer in the youth teams of Catiolla FC and Ōita Trinita as well as in the university team of Meiji University . During his time at Ōita Trinita, a club from Ōita that played in the J2 League , he was used ten times as a youth player in the professional squad. He moved to the Urawa Red Diamonds in 2019 through the university team at Meiji University . The club from Urawa-ku , a district of the metropolis Saitama , played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League .
