Katy Wix
Katy Wix (* 1979, Cardiff ) is a Welsh actress and comedienne . She is best known from Miranda , Torchwood and Agatha Raisin .
Early life
Wix was born in Cardiff in 1979 and studied at the University of Warwick before moving to the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama .
Career
In 2007 she joined the cast of Not Going Out as a recurring role Daisy. In the Torchwood series she played Rhiannon Davies, the sister of Ianto Jones . In 2010 she was in the BBC Three telecast The King Is Dead to see. She had guest appearances in Horrible Histories , Outnumbered and Absolutely Fabulous . She was also featured in Harvey's Furniture Shop advertising trailers for Coronation Street . In Germany, Wix is most recently known for her role as Gemma Simpson in the British crime series Agatha Raisin - broadcast on zdf_neo.
