Kavinsky (* 31 July 1975 ; bourgeois Vincent Belorgey ) is a French Electro - DJ and producer.

Life

Vincent Belorgey, who lives in Paris , created his alter ego Kavinsky in 2005 . From 2006 several EPs appeared on Record Makers . He performed with SebastiAn at the side of the French duo Daft Punk during their Tour Alive 2007 . He also worked as an actor in the French feature film Steak . SebastiAn's remix of Kavinsky's Testarossa Autodrive was used in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV .

He became internationally known for the title song Nightcall from the film Drive , which he recorded together with the Brazilian singer Lovefoxxx . The single reached the charts in France and Belgium , among others .

His first album OutRun was released in early 2013 .
