The Kavlak Peak (English, Bulgarian връх Кавлак wrach Kawlak ) is a 1200 m high mountain at the Nordenskjöld Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 7.17 km west-southwest of Darzalas Peak , 6.92 km northwest of Mount Elliott , 4.88 km north-northeast of Gusla Peak and 25.41 km east of Baldwin Peak from the southeastern foothills of the Detroit Plateau .
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Kawlak in northern Bulgaria .
