The Kaweka Range (also Kaweka Ranges ) is a mountain range in the Hawke's Bay region in the east of the North Island of New Zealand .
It is between the city of Napier , 55 km to the southeast, and Lake Taupo , 50 km to the northwest. It is the source of many rivers that flow into Hawke Bay , including the Tutaekuri , Mohaka, and Ngaruroro Rivers .
The highest point is Mount Kaweka at 1625 m.
