Kazuo Kashio
Kazuo Kashio ( Japanese 樫 尾 和 雄 , Kashio Kazuo ; born January 9, 1929 in Tokyo , Japan ; † June 18, 2018 there ) was the founder of the Japanese company Casio .
He graduated from Nihon University in March 1951 . He was married and had three children. In 1952 he founded the Casio company with his brothers. He made a decisive contribution to the product development, in particular of the first Casio pocket calculator . In 1957 he became product manager for all Casio products. In 1965 he became sales manager. Since 1988 he has been President and CEO of Casio.
