Keiji Tamada ( Japanese 玉田 圭 司 Tamada Keiji ; born April 11, 1980 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
society
In 1999 he started his career with Kashiwa Reysol in the J-League . The first time he appeared on March 13, 1999 in the game against Avispa Fukuoka in appearance, his first goal he scored on August 31, 2002 against Consadole Sapporo . In 1999, his first season, he won the J. League Cup with Kashiwa . In 2005 he had to take the path to the second division with Kashiwa. After relegation, he left the club and joined the first division club Nagoya Grampus Eight from Nagoya . Here he was under contract until the end of 2014. In 2010 he was Japanese football champion with the club, and a year later he celebrated the runner-up. He was in the final of the Emperor's Cup in 2009. In the final they lost to Gamba Osaka 4-1. After 233 first division games, he moved to Osaka in 2015 for two years to the second division club Cerezo Ōsaka . For Osaka he completed 57 second division games. At the end of 2016, he was fourth with the club in the second division and rose to the first division. After promotion, he left Osaka and signed a contract with his former club Nagoya Grampus Eight, who played in the second division. At the end of 2017 he was third in the table with the club and rose again to the first division, where he played one more season for the club. V-Varen Nagasaki , the first division relegated from Nagasaki , signed him from 2019.
National team
The 1.73 m tall striker also played internationally and made his debut in the international match against Singapore in March 2004. At the 2004 Asian Cup he scored two of four goals against Bahrain as well as the winning goal in the qualifier against Singapore. He also scored 1-0 in the last group match against Brazil at the 2006 World Cup .
