Keisuke Kurihara ( Japanese 栗 原 圭介 , Kurihara Keisuke ; born May 20, 1973 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Kurihara learned to play soccer on the school team at Toin Gakuen High School and the university team at Komazawa University . He signed his first contract with Verdy Kawasaki in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1996 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . In 1996 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In 1998 he was loaned to the first division club Bellmare Hiratsuka (today: Shonan Bellmare). For the club he completed 16 first division games. In 1999 he returned to Verdy Kawasaki. For the club he completed 38 first division games. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima . For the club he completed 18 first division games. In 2001 he moved to the second division club Shonan Bellmare . For the club he completed 71 games. In 2003 he moved to league rivals Albirex Niigata . In 2003 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 26 games. In 2005 he moved to league competitor Vissel Kobe .
