Keita Amemiya ( Japanese 雨 宮 慶 太 , Amemiya Keita ; born August 24, 1959 in Urayasu , Chiba Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese game character designer and film director .

Keita Amemiya has directed television series and feature films since 1983, such as Zeiram , made in 1991 , in which the extraterrestrial creature of the same name fights against the bounty hunter Iria. Other well-known films include Kamen Rider and Unholy Women - Das Klappern . He had the idea for the anime television series Mahō Shōjo Tai Arusu ( Teeny Witches ), which was first broadcast from 2004 to 2005. He has been married to the Japanese film director Yumiko Awaya since 1986 .
