Paul Bardtke

Paul Joseph Caesar Carl Bardtke (born May 2, 1872 in Kittlitztreben , Bunzlau district , Lower Silesia ; † February 27, 1935 in Wittenberge , Brandenburg ) was a German civil servant and university professor.

Life

Bardtke became a government architect in 1902 and worked at the Imperial Patent Office in Berlin from 1904 to 1907 . In 1909 he was with the Prussian State Railways , was the official director of the locomotive workshop in Gleiwitz in 1910 and the same in Wittenberge in 1916.

In 1918 Bardtke was promoted to government councilor and government building councilor, in 1920 to senior government councilor and building councilor and in 1925 to senior councilor for the Reichsbahn . In 1929 he received a teaching position for welding technology at the Technical University of Hanover and was made an honorary professor in 1930 .
