Keita Sugimoto ( Japanese 杉 本 恵 太 Sugimoto Keita ; born June 13, 1982 in Ibaraki Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Sugimoto learned to play football on the school team at Kashima High School and the university team at Ryūtsū Keizai University . He signed his first contract with Nagoya Grampus Eight in 2005 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 2010 . For the club he completed 173 first division games. In 2011 he moved to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 16 league games.
