The semi-detached house was built in 1912–1913 according to plans by the architect Carl Schembs . Stylistically, the semi-detached house resembles a country house . The architecture is characterized by elements of the homeland style and traditionalism .
Typical details are the hipped roof with beaver tail cover and bat dormers . The balconies and loggias are designed differently. The fireplace surrounds, stairs and floor coverings inside are also well preserved .
Monument protection
The semi-detached house is a typical example of the country house style in Darmstadt in the early 20th century. For architectural and city history reasons, the twin house is a cultural monument .
